How many guests can you accommodate?

We have tables and chairs for up to 300 guests. If you intend on having more guests, please contact us. 
 

How many hours do we have access to the venue for?

You can access the venue as early as 10:00AM and cleanup has to end by 10PM.

 

How many guests can stay in the cabin?

The cabin can sleep up to 12 people.

 

How many people can park at the cabin?

Four cars in the driveway and one by the mailbox.

 

How many people can park at the venue?

Five cars, plus vendors. 

 

What equipment comes with the venue rental?

8 - 32" Round cocktail tables
1 - 40' x 80' Reception tent

How late can music play?

Music can play until 9:00 pm.

 

Who is responsible for setting up tables and chairs?

You are responsible for setting up and taking down tables and chairs. A staff member of The Rivers Edge can do this for an additional $300 if you would like to add this service.

 

What is included in the catering tent?

A sink, two refrigerators, and three tables for prep.

 

What are the check in/out times for the cabin?

Check in is at 3pm and check out is 11am.

 

Are there rooms to get ready in?

Yes, in the cabin is the sunroom for the bridal party. That includes two chairs for hair and makeup, two tables, a full-length mirror and an air conditioner. The cabin also has the groom’s room that has a wet bar, TV, access to the hot tub and yard games!

 

Can I bring my own caterer?

We recommend you choose a caterer off our preferred vendor list. However, you are allowed to go off-list for an additional $300 charge upon permission from the venue. 

 

Are there other preferred vendors I must use?

No, we invite you to bring in whoever else you'd like for your vendor team! We do have a great florist and wedding coordinator that has a studio close by you are welcome to hire if you wish. We have a list of amazing vendors we enjoy working with that we would love to recommend.

Can I have alcohol?

Yes, you may use a licensed bartender to serve your alcohol. Alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender and a liquor license must be acquired by the couple beforehand and sent to us. Hard alcohol is allowed. But no shots.

 

What does the facility charge include?

It includes the use of the venue for 12 hours (until 9 pm clean up from 9-10pm). 300 fruitwood chairs, benches, fire pit, tent with café lights, tables, dance floor, venue restrooms, shuttle service, two nights in the cabin (additional nights will cost more) a second event for up to 40 people. This can be your rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch. We will also have a venue facilitator on-site.

 

Do I need to hire a caterer?

Yes, either/both events need to be catered. Our kitchen cannot accommodate cooking for large groups.

 

Will the reception tent have side walls?

No. However, you are able to bring in heaters.

 

Do you allow sparklers, confetti and/or rose petals?

We allow sparklers, but no confetti. Rose petals may be used down the aisle, but you are responsible for picking them up. If a staff member must clean them up, it is a $75.
 

How does the shuttle work?

We recommend parking at Cascade View Elementary. The shuttle is a 51-passenger bus that will pick up and drop off at the school. Pick up starts one hour before the ceremony and will continue hourly after the ceremony until 9:30pm.
